The Shorland Agency specializes in placing educated, trained and experienced child-care professionals. Our screening processes are among the strictest in the industry and all candidates are guaranteed to be of the highest calibre. Every nanny is personally interviewed and all relevant work experience and qualifications are thoroughly verified. In-depth discussions are conducted with at least two childcare related references. Security is of the utmost importance and we ensure all nannies are fully bondable with an RCMP criminal background check prior to placement.

The minimum requirements for all candidates are:

• Training from a recognized child care facility or minimum 5 years experience
• Three recent, professional, full-time child care experiences
• Ability to read, write, speak and articulate English fluently
• Valid B.C. or equivalent driver’s license
• CPR/First Aid Certificate
• Legal right to work in Canada
